1. I’m at risk of becoming homeless, what should I do?
Call us at 815-758-5765 as soon as you think you’re at risk. We will provide you with resources that may prevent you from becoming homeless.
Here are some areas where we need volunteers:
Providing evening meals: Volunteers serve and provide all the evening meals at the Hope Haven shelter. We urge anyone who would like to volunteer to contact one of the following churches or other organizations who provide meals on a regular basis. Let them know you want to help with meals for Hope Haven!

Collect crucial items for shelter residents: Groups and individuals provide enormous support by doing drives or using “extreme couponing” to collect the following items for our residents. Contact the shelter at 815-758-5765 to arrange a drop off from your drive!

Help organize Night by Night with your group/community: Each spring, hundreds of members of the community send in Night by Night donations.
